First school

What a fabulous day. It was a joy to welcome the first school in today, since lockdown began. The children had a wonderful day, teachers were most appreciative, and all the pre planning was worth it; there is only one element that needs changing, and it will be easy to do. I took the photo as I walked to the castle to check on the first tour, and although you can’t see it in the photo, a kingfisher was sitting on the bough in the bathhouse!
