Tiny Tuesday . . . Soft

This is the scalloped edge of a baby jacket that I am knitting placed over the soft Merino wool I am using.  It is lovely to knit with and will be soft when worn by the future baby.  The lovely daughter has asked me to knit something for a colleague of hers who is expecting a baby in the new year.  I don't remember why she never learnt to knit.  Maybe it just wasn't her thing.  I think I started by knitting clothes for my dolls.  Thank you Phillipa for hosting this month.
