Nearly home

... luckily. Actually despite appearances most of our walk was in bright sunshine, a stiff wind, and just a few drops of rain. Within minutes of this blip, the sky was blue and the rainbow had gone. It was a short, easy walk, 7.5 km and 2 hours, avoiding any possibilities of mud after last night's rain. Extra: a very distant heron. We saw a buzzard too, even more distant.

Prospect for this evening: a roaring fire and a Tuesday pizza.
