Sea Pebbles
The good weather continues - Himself has started sorting out the log pile, old wood/new wood and what goes where and why, and I put one of the gunnera (giant rhubarb) to bed. This is a satisfying, if scratchy job, as a scythe is needed and a lot of ferocious lopping. Basically you just cut down the massive spiky stalks, whip of the huge leaf and cover the remains up with the foliage which keeps it snug from the frosts. Not that you can kill this thing. We covered a whole ton of it with black plastic sheeting and its now sprouting out form under it with exuberance.
A gentle wander down to the strand later, all looking rather nice. Lots of hard tiny pebbles suitable for Tiny Tuesday I hope, and an autumnal leaf thrown in as well.
Edit: just realised the challenge is for soft not hard, so focus on the leaf!
