Still Going

At forty years old this little beauty is still going.When I bought it the sensor was updated regularly by many different firms and gave FULL FRAME results in a compact and light weight body.As better films and processing came along so the results from the camera improved with no subscription to Adobe.How things have improved now.FF cameras tend to be large and heavy and after twelve months superseded by a better must have model because 24 megapixels looks so much better than 16 megapixels on a computer screen.
And imagine our grandchildren's excitement when they find that old external drive in the attic and want to flick through it and the memories it contains perhaps putting a face to a name or discovering a family member they didn't know.Then the let down when the hardware can no longer be accessed by the modern software and the drive makes its way to the bin.

A mainly dry day but a few heavy showers and feeling cold.
