Square eyed

Awake a bit in the night and again early this morning but needed to be up and preparing for various things today anyway.
Another wet day with a strong wind hurling leaves all around, but I spent it all at my desk in endless meetings ....pretty pleased how they went in the end....feels like we may even have made real progress.
Chatting to V at the end of the day she suddenly went quiet having received a text and I have to say I was worried ....turned out it was from track and trace telling her to self isolate til next Wednesday. She can’t think when/where that’s come from ...and she feels totally fine, but is despairing at the thought of needing to stay home alone for a week and a bit. Once over the shock she packed up her stuff to let her work from home, then headed off.
I had a more relaxing evening than last night, chatted to A&N about golf, her new car, conferences and V’s isolation before watching Bake Off and knitting. Saw this post from T&Kt (or rather from their pooch Heston on his own Instagram account!). He’s actually a brown not black Dalmatian but thought this looked better in mono....what a character!
