The sandbar

We had a little bait left so we hit one of my fav fishing holes this afternoon. It turned out to be a beautiful day, partly sunny but a bit breezy . This sand bar separates our creek from the river. It is a great place to beachcombing there after storms and high tides. Since our goal was to fish and use up bait we passed on a scavenger hunt! We kept 21 nice perch and threw back at least that many small ones as well as small puppy drum and rock fish. We had a nice time in a COVID free zone...not a person in sight anywhere!
