Harvesting the soybean crop

Another gorgeous day, and in the afternoon we went cycling north from Corwin on the bike trail. I was hoping we may see some harvesting going on, and we were lucky. We were cycling along, when we suddenly realized we had our small group handbell practice this evening, so we had to get a move on, which unfortunately meant no more picture stops. This was a shame as the late afternoon light across the fields was beautiful. The trouble with going away mid week as we usually do these days, since it is quieter, it still throws us as to what day it is. We have so few activities to keep track off in these Covid times, you’d think we could manage the few we have! Anyway we still got 14 miles in , and just managed to get back home and change and get to bells in time.
