A relic from the past

Years ago I dropped photography for about 3-4 years and turned to working with gold and silver...gold was more affordable then, than today...I soon found I enjoyed setting stones suited me every bit as much as working with the  two metals...this is only one of a very few I made just for myself, it's 9ct gold and silver with alas, not diamonds, but cubic zirconia stones. I do remember when they first appeared, how zirconia stones of good quality could even fool people in the jewellery trade, at that point they often invested in the diamond tester LOL

With no actual workshop to use I got fed up of setting up each time,so after a couple of years returned to photography again:)
