One Street - Station Road
Today I have chosen to blip a picture of part of my 'One Street' for this project. The picture shows the post-box and the telephone box; to the left is a large boulder, this is Puddingstone. It is believed that this is not where it was deposited, but that it was placed here later. Puddingstone is also known as Pudding Stone or Plum Pudding Stone and differs in makeup depending on its geographical distribution.
As I type this blip, Victoria is airborne; on her way to Prato Nevoso in Italy for the school skiing trip. Oliver is currently sitting in bed in Addenbrookes ready to have his surgery to pin his broken bones back together again; he is third on the list and scheduled for lunch time. He may have to stay overnight, depending on how he reacts afterwards.
By looking large at this picture taken on Tuesday 4 December 2012 you can see the stone and the telephone box about halfway down on the left-hand side; the post-box is not visible.
