A village wander

Community choir on Zoom first thing, then off for a wander down the village to call at the Post Office and then deliver a card to friend A for her birthday today.  We had a lengthy chat which was lovely, as with current restrictions we don’t see each other much except on Zoom these days!  The sky was looking ominous, so rather than go home I decided to walk to the garden centre.  Saw a rainbow on the way in, and then the heavens opened.  Luckily there was lots to look at so I spent quite some time in there until it dried up outside.  Still a moody sky as I left, but I wandered back via the park with lots of autumn colour, and even a little sun peeping through the trees.  Came home to the sad news that one of our Monday group choir members has passed away - the choir is like a family so always sad to lose someone. Quiz tonight, so a few chores to do now, and then I can settle down to test the grey matter!  Whoops - lost track of time and forgot the quiz!!
