Two Minutes

By the time I parked up, walked to the parking machine and found I didn't have a right change so popped into WHS to buy something I didn't need (a clip board on special offer) to gain a handful of change. I was away from the car for 7 minutes.

The Civil Enforcement Officer must have watched his timer with glee to be able to issue me with a £50 parking fine after observing my car for the required 5 minutes.

Then the council wonder why we do our shopping on-line and our High Street is slowly dying.
