The pool is now at 28°C. It looks likely that I will be forced by the honour code to dip a toe in it tomorrow. As we don't cover the pool, there is a small chance it will lose 4°C or so & that may be enough that the sun doesn't manage to get it to the trigger point.

Today I sold the car after putting the ad out on Tuesday using Ebay's free classified ads service. Loads of calls & texts as one would expect from loads of mainly foreign numbers. Some interesting communications! In the end, went for a local Memmingen person who indeed comes from Romania but is in the process of building a new life here and was accompanied by a much younger Romanian who already has done so and is so fully integrated you frankly wouldn't know. There was some bargaining which was fully justified and I had, of course, built that into the original price. Pleasant experience. They took the girl with them but was sad to see her go.
