Umm Suqeim Beach

G very kindly separated the recycling in the morning, so I just had to drop it off at the centre. I've been asked to do a four-minute video of Life in Dubai and I need to get some footage for it, so today I crossed the road to do a bit of filming. I think a tripod wouldn't come amiss! I'll be appreciating the free stock footage I've been downloading and using for my videos all the more now!

I was going to call in at a clinic, but as G only had one lesson, I hung around and she came with me. We went to a new clinic because it is included in the network of our health insurance. It was... interesting! The verdict for my swollen foot is cellulitis! Easily curable so I am pleased about that. I mentioned the awful ringing in my ears that has become worse over the months; the doctor said she'd refer me to an ENT specialist but approval didn't come through for me to see that doctor so I am going to be educated on the intricacies of how lower cat insurance works.

We had a quick Burger King lunch before coming home for the day. The antibiotics I've been given are twice a day, so I've got to wait until the evening to start.

And a quick search informed me that today is Cliff Richard's 80th birthday! We don't hear much about him anymore.
