Up In Flames

Thanks for all the nice comments on yesterdays blip. While I was working on it I found myself thinking about flames and the cosy glow of the fire.

It had been many years since we'd lit this fire but, until we get a new boiler fitted we have been enjoying the way it's warmth manages to fill the house.

I had tried to keep yesterday's leaves damp but this morning they had dried and shriveled. Luckily I had a few left in the garden! (I might have actually used too many today.)
