It’s a Whopper

Freedom! But what to do with it? Well, first of all a stretch of the legs with a walk into Stockbridge, then a trip to the allotment to dump the compost and take stock. It’s not looking too bad really, though there are plenty of jobs to be done when I fancy. Picked the last remaining fig, some late blueberries (which didn’t make it home!), a bag of rocket and a huge bag of kale and lifted a few shaws of spuds. Would have carted the pumpkin home but I didn’t have a cart. Weighs a ton!
Then it was off to the newly expanded Lidl, largest in Scotland now apparently, to stock up on everything we’ve not been allowed to eat for the last fortnight. And to get in some beer which has also sadly been off the menu.
Spuds for dinner, a carb-fest!
