Bright start to a long day

The light was very fine this morning. It was a good start. Then it turned into an intense day of work calls and the worry of hearing that one of daughter J's housemates has confirmed Covid19. The house (five of them) are now in isolation. It doesn't exactly surprise me, given the situation with universities across the country. I am trying not to worry but of course I am worried.

I had tea this evening with a very old friend and his teenage daughter. It was nice to catch up over a yummy roast chicken dinner and took my mind off things for a while. He also gave me a big framed picture of a David Bowie album cover which has now found its spiritual home in the empty space above the fireplace! I would chuck it in extras if I had any! :)
