Spring is sprung. The grass is riz.
Now that the fog has lifted, it feels like spring again today. I went to check the rhubarb and found this little leaf that has "escaped". By next weekend there will be enough rhubarb for a pie inside the rhubarb bell.
My husband is out in the farmyard putting up more bird boxes. The bird adviser for the local Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty says that last weenend was the peak "house hunting" weekend for little birds, so I hope we are not too late with our new bird boxes. They are the right size for tree sparrows (rather smart little birds with black dots on their cheeks). They are rare in this area and we have a thriving little colony :-)
