Bullfinch

This morning we went for a walk around the Racecourse and lanes.  We saw a mistle thrush, kestral, flock of redwings and this handsome male bullfinch eating rowan berries.

There was a very attractive grey curly dog wandering free in the car park with several people looking after it and hunting for the owner.  It had a collar with details on so it's owners could be contacted but as the Racecourse is used by professional dog walkers as well as dog owners it could be an escapee from them.  I'm sure that it would be reunited with it's family.
