Hydrangea

Left London at 6am to beat the traffic (which is twice as bad as it ever was despite the City being quiet - few people are using public transport).  An hour with our personal trainer who doesn't feel his mission is accomplished unless we are dripping sweat and panting.  Met up with friends for the first time since March, went out for lunch, luckily not many people in restaurant.  Now it's raining and nearly going dark so early.

This pink hydrangea in its big pot lives in a shady spot on the drive.  It has only just decided to flower, yet its leaves are turning pinky red - quite a striking combination.
