Windflower Seedhead
I've been waiting and watching for the tiny Japanese Anemone seed heads to swell and finally burst ... it's all happening now as the the tiny, fluffy seeds are beginning to catch the wind and they're off to seed in someone else's garden.
It has been a lovely autumnal day .... sunshine, long shadows and plenty of children out and about enjoying their half term break.
The only blot on the page today was the queue outside our local M&S food hall .... I only wanted bread and I certainly wasn't going to queue for that so I'll just have porridge tomorrow moring.
