The last bit of gorse
Had a wonderful walk up on The Mynd this afternoon. Clouds were scudding across the sky, swallows were flying in their hundreds, I guess getting ready to leave us for warmer climes.
The sun was shining, the sky was blue, just the most perfect Autumn afternoon. I came across this piece of gorse, still flowering, looking rather out of place amongst the dying heather. What a glorious day. How lucky are we to live in such a beautiful place.
