Schizostylis

Well I thought it was!  I have known this as Schizostylis coccinea but now it seems it is  more commonly known as Hesperantha coccinea at least according to the RHS.

WE grew this in the garden at out previous house, it survived but didn't do terribly well.  This one is growing very well beside Kanyl's pond.  Perhaps the common name River Lily might explain that.
