Gorgeous day
Met my friend Susan mid morning and we walked over Cramond bridge along the river to Cramond village and along the promenade towards Granton. We then retraced our steps a bit and walked up to Lauriston farm where we stopped for a light refreshment - lighter than we had planned as the soup wasn’t ready. Coffee and a scone it was then. We then walked along millionaires row (Gamekeepers road) peeking in at the rather lovely 1920s mansions before ending up back at the bridge and car park. A nice wee 13.5km jaunt.
Home to play with the dog whilst Mr PHL nipped into town for some bits and pieces. The sausages for dinner were rather attractive to young Phin (See extra) but we were firm and didn’t give him any. he’s been a bit of a handful this evening with several indoor accidents - either he’s over excited or he might have a wee infection. We will keep an eye on him overnight and check with the vet in the morning if no improvement. It’s easy to forget he’s just over 12 weeks old as it feels like he’s been with us for a long time already!
