Mr Pheasant

Out for a little run this afternoon and I spotted this chap at the side of the road. Knowing how slow on the uptake (thick!) they are, I stopped and took this shot. Another car came the other way “He’s going to get mashed!” But thankfully no, he nipped onto the verge in the nick of time only to resume his investigation of the tarmac as soon as the road was clear.
