The day after . . .
Yesterday was a stressful day. Murray had a day at the vet. He had to be anaesthetised for teeth cleaning and extractions. We dropped him off just before 9am and collected him at 6pm. Greyhounds can have problems with anaesthetic as they have little body fat to absorb it so getting it right is literally vital. I was relieved to have him back groggy, disoriented and sore though he was. He's picked up today, eaten, wagged his tail and nuzzled me affectionately. Hopefully he'll feel up to a walk tomorro3.
The bad news is he's got to ho back for extractions of back teeth in a few weeks. Two short anaesthetic episodes are deemed safer. Not looking forward to putting him through pain again.
Stay safe all
