Evening Sunshine
The pond is a rather lonely place to be at the moment. All the offspring have been chased off and all we have left are the Cob (pictured) swanning about, with his eyes closed in the sun, and the Pen who is doggedley sitting on her new clutch of eggs in her nest. There are a few ducks and geese quietly floating around, but that is about it.
Elswhere in the business park, we have got a woodpecker and a Kestel resting in the trees; the latter recently introduced to keep the pigeons down.
So yet again, the wait is on for the next batch of Swanlets. Meanwhile, every living thing is gently basking in the quietness and warmth of the late evening sun.
EXCEPT ME WHO HAS TO BLUDDY WORK!
