Water Tank
Was determined I was going to get out and about today. I left it rather late but was quite pleased I did because I got some shots with a beautiful golden glow.
Went to to a different part of Saltfleet and Theddlethorpe Dunes and was memorised by the white horses on the waves. It is not often you can see the sea as it is usually really far out, but today I could as the tide as it was coming in. I decided to do the 1km walk to exercise my still poorly foot but ended up doing much more as I came across the rusted remains of a Comet Mk IV tank. I knew it was there but had never seen it before. I will definitely go back and maybe see if I can get some shots of it at sunrise or sunset because I think they might be stunning and quite poignant with armistice day fast approaching. Someone had put a poppy on it already. Pic in extras from other side of the tank in the beautiful golden light of the evening.
I met a lovely lady who walked with me back to the car park - showing me the flattest route so I could hobble back. She had four really well behaved dogs who were used to posing - yet another extra.
