another sign of the times

Yesterday I researched and learned RJ Rummel developed the word, "democide." 

Tomorrow I get to talk to Salva Dut. Mind-blowing. I only knew he was famous because I did a search on him to prepare. 

Today I learned that someone was over-the-top kind and generous to me and my head can't totally wrap around it. 

James Carville wrote an overly stated piece praising America for the "crusade" we are now engaging in. I don't think it is quite that, but there are many Americans working together in a way we haven't for a very long time, putting aside differences, sucking it up to make the world better.
