Signs of Spring

Whenever I see these catkin buds I know Spring is just round the corner. The daffodils are growing tall , heads beginning to thicken so shouldn't be long until the weather improves.

No football today as John wasn't feeling too well so we stayed at home. Weather dire , miserable, wet , grey weather. Nothing much doing for a blip so I headed on to the shore to see if I could get a catkin blip. Wind minimal so the branches were fairly still. Pleased to get a couple of wet catkin blips and here is tonight's choice. Might be worth a look at the large version.
