Wildlings

I love come across wild apple trees in the landscape.  Some are crabs and some surprisingly lush and sweet.  I imagine people decades ago chucking an apple core on a bank only to reward us many years on with blossom in spring and fruit in the autumn.

Taken on the lunchtime walk.  A squall of rain blew through us on the hill but the sun that came out after lit up the landscape.

Vik went up to London today for a medical appointment and brought down some more things of mine.  The new tier 2 lockdown announcement suggests I won’t be going back up for a while, maybe not until we move.  Rang B and C who were phlegmatic about not going out.  Given she’s pregnant and feeling fairly rotten it’s not going to change their plans much.
