Damn clever these Weather Forecasters

The weather forecast was dry, sun on the coast and cloudy inland.  As you can see, they were dead right. 

After a 1.5km swim during which the camera failed to work( battery is probably flat) , I dragged Mr P for a post breakfast walk from the cafe , up "Bishops Tithe Allotment" to look for some geocaches. . As for the name, apparently when the formerly common land was enclosed in the 1700s by the local landowners a portion was given to the church  to make up for loss of tithes. This plot was given to the Bishop of Chester. It was kind of him to make it Open Access Land

Cumbria Coronavirus News. Barrow is officially on Tier 2. I don't know why Barrow has such a problem but I have been told that that BAE Systems, who have an enormous base out there building submarines in the largest shipyard in the UK, test their 4,500 employees  every week because they want them in work.  Barrow has had its own test and trace system for months and say the virus is spreading amongst young people so limiting household mixing is the right thing to do. Furthermore the  Cumbria Test and Trace system, which is independent from the Govt system, reaches about 95% of cases. The National system traces about 65%
