What to do?

I’m having a clear out of my loft in preparation for having it boarded. These riding hats belong to my son and I. We only used them for shows and they are immaculate. They are no longer up to current safety standards so do I keep them for the memories or do I get rid of them for taking up space? I’ve got rid of lots of stuff but I’m having a hard time letting these go....
