Hausaufgaben

Or "homework" if you were wondering. This little lot took me about 2 and a half hours and included some very tricky stuff indeed. I had to work really quite hard at it. Then again, I expect to work hard to really learn this.

I had half an idea to go into town today and visit the Tourist Information office to pick up some brochures to send to my mum. However, a quick browse in t'internets showed the very unsurprising news that the office is shut on a Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.

This led to a little daft, tongue-in-cheek conversation between G & me where we decided that presumably tourists will normally only come between normal office hours during the week and/or on a Saturday morning. And on Sundays, they are not allowed to be tourists anywhere.

I have to stress that it is only teasing. I really enjoy living here but I am as bemused by some of the local government decisions here just as I was by some of those made back in Edinburgh.
