Friday at the Allotment

Had a day off which was great.  So spent the morning being domestic-cleaning, cooking, washing and such like.
However spent a lovely afternoon at our own allotment, checking on the new pond, harvesting apples, potatoes, leeks and carrots, and enjoying the autumn freshness.
This is Hydrangea paniculata probably 'Limelight' in her beautiful autumn hues.  The flowering heads last all winter. and are then pruned off in the spring.
Have a good weekend!
A home produce dinner tonight!
