False Alarm

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Eldest Mini Princess has been off school as a precaution as Steve’s Dad has been waiting for the results of a COVID test.

It was positive. We decided to self-isolate as a family and I went into organisational mode - I booked a test for The Eldest Mini Princess and arranged for Murphy to be walked.

The Prince took EMP (with a chocolate biscuit for after*) to the drive through testing site at the airport. She said that it was ok although the throat swab was very unpleasant (took 4 attempts).

They were told that the results would take up to 5 days but amazingly the email with her (thankfully) negative result was emailed 11 hours later.

We don’t even have to self-isolate because she has no symptoms and hasn’t been contacted but we decided that The Mini Princesses should stay off school for the rest of the week just to be on the safe side.

Is it really sad that other than not being able to go out with Murphy, I didn’t have to make any changes in order to self-isolate?!
