And we thought yesterday was bad......

Once again today, we should have exchanged contracts.  Once again today, we didn’t.  I’m not going to go into all the detail as, suffice to say, I’m sick of it.  However, after two missed deadlines we were given six minutes to exchange on our sale but not the purchase.  Whilst it might have been safe, we declined.  However, I did manage to get the builders to agree to delay our build by two days to allow us to make the payment we need to make, which they did as they knew how much effort we had been making to get things through.  But if it doesn’t all happen on Monday, the whole deal is off.

We’re off to our new rental/holiday home tomorrow in this, to take things over.  Let’s hope we aren’t bringing them all back again, together with a much depleted bank account, in six months time.
