Escaped Blighty

For Stockholm...

We were supposed to be in Budapest but it was cancelled due to covid, so we opted for Stockholm and I’m very happy with our choice. Such a beautiful city with lots to see and do!

We first of all went on the Ericsson Globe which is the worlds largest spherical building with a track on the outside with a pod taking you up to the roof to see the views of Stockholm, coming down was a little scary but worth it for the views!

After that we spent a few hours around the old town exploring the quaint cobbled streets and stopping for a beer at the street cafes.

We then went and had a walk along the waterfront which is today’s picture. Tomorrow we’d like to get over the other side where the boat is. Stockholm is made up of little island it’s so pretty.

Tonight we’ve enjoyed a Chinese and early night after the 4am get up!
