It's Friday :-))))

It always amuses me that despite us being retired, I still look forward to the weekend.

I spent a chunk of the morning and afternoon working on a painting commission for a friend.  Can't say too much about it at the moment other than to say I am really enjoying it.  There are some challenging parts to it but I am looking forward to tackling them.  

And some new watercolour paper arrived.  Rough texture.  Haven't painted on that type of paper before so looking forward to giving it a go.  Should be interesting.  I hope :-)

Got the sad news this evening that a friend's dad has passed away from Covid.  

This year really is shit.
