Last Day

Final day of work - and on to new beginnings. Had lots of emails from work friends and colleagues - and a surprise zoom retirement party! Such a surreal feeling, and really hard to describe with words. Exciting, a little scary, and sadness, wishing that I could take everyone along with me on the next part of the journey. The door to the gilded cage has finally opened, and I’ve realized that it was never a cage - it was a great full life of fun, meaning, connection, purpose and interesting challenges. I am ready to fly outside now.
