A Wild Encounter

After months of waiting, and everthing crossed that it wouldn't be cancelled, today I headed off to the British Wildlife Centre for a Photo day with photographer and workshop leader David Lloyd and just 10 other photographers with exclusive access to the centre.

With a nod to the strange conditions, we split into 2 groups, which was actually a big benefit ... plenty of room in the enclosures and around the small mammals for getting a good shot.

The harvest mouse was adorable, and barely moved making him an ideal subject.  In fact, most of the animals were posing nicely for for us all day.  Shots of the iconic red squirrel and urban fox in extras.
