This morning involved last minute prep and packing. Then headed down to English Corner Int Cafe where we had special Christmas related food and games and I gave a 5 min talk on Christmas. I played the English card and talked about the Queen's Christmas day speech (Jesus was mentioned somewhere in there too...!)

The off to catch the DART down the Greystones to get ready for the international student Christmas weekend away! It's a pretty cool journey as the train goes right by the sea. Got to G'stones and made it to the YW and helped Jonathan decorate the place with pretty Christmas lights with Liz.

The studes all started arriving some time after 6. We had hot punch and an ice breaker before tea. Then an intro to Christmas in Ireland by Donal followed by 'Make your own Christmas cake part I' and 'Make your own Christmas card'. The card making sesh was basically a result of me rooting around in my craft box. LOVED how creative (and uncreative!) some of the studes were!

Then a bit of chatter etc before bed. Had a sore throat since yday which isn't good considering this weekend is mostly about talking to people!
