Cranes and Cranes and Cranes and Cranes

Young Stace would have had a field day with all these works going on for the 2022 Commonwealth Games; I used to be absolutely fascinated with cranes. Chances are if you were on a bus in Birmingham in the early 90s you'd have heard Young Stace shouting "MOM! LOOK! CRANES!" There were always plenty of cranes around Brum too, in fact, the title of this entry is actually the title of a song by Brummie band Johnny Foreigner.

It's been a palaver today. Woke up early with a bad tum that continued through the morning, busy at work, carted myself to Perry Barr in the rain after work to try to fix my still borked bank card only to have to order a new one (which I could've done from home)... The evening was a lot better, as Jimmy held another of his reverse song quizzes and I treated myself to a nice red sour ale. Bring on the weekend!
