Heron with bikes

OK, its Amsterdam, so you expect to see bikes everywhere. But a heron in the middle of the street? That was a little unexpected. I took a few photos as we approached, convinced it would fly away before I got close but, as you can see, it stayed right where it was. No-one else on the street gave it a second glance; I guess it must be a regular visitor to the street.
