Mario's painting

Mario was a painter of nudes and landscapes. He was from the East Coast - New York and New Jersey, but had re-located with his wife to be close to his oldest son and my daughter and the grand-children. I have known him since 1984. I was lucky to get this painting. He always said, this is not his favorite one.... but the one that I had picked out, was his favorite and he did not want to part with it. Then their house burned down 2 years ago in the big California fires and at least this one survived.
