A HERD OF CURLEWS

...apparently, with the old steel works in the background. Other possible collective nouns seem to be a Head or a Curfew (which I think is just someone being smart). This was just part of the gang.

I went for a walk along Greatham Creek, one of my favourite walks though I haven't been since before the lockdown, and possibly not since last year. There was lots to see and photograph, but I realised that the time has come for me to start taking a hat and gloves out with me again. And possibly winter drawers.
