Something New

I got up early at 7:30am, but at least I got 8 hours sleep which is more than can be said for the rest of the week. I spent the morning doing my jobs, and watched an old favourite 'Only Fools and Horses' on the telly in the background- it always makes me think of Gramps!

In the afternoon I did my nails, and then we went to see Little Ro. She spent her first night at her new home, and we took some stuff with us as well as some flowers and a box of biscuits. She wanted to have Little B so we took his bed too.

Lucy and S and N came too, so it was pretty chaotic, with the dog racing around smelling everything, and Lucy wanting to investigate! We had cups of tea, and spent a noisy time chatting. Ro's friend David came over, bearing a gift- a multi-purpose screwdriver! He hadn't seen it all finished, so Lucy said to him "there's a big bed upstairs!" (when she arrived she got straight in to it!).

She had great fun jumping around in Ro's bed, saying "boo!" to David (or Davin as she called him) and hiding behind the pillows. She thoroughly enjoyed his presence, and spent a great deal of time trying to get his attention, even introducing us "this is daddy! This is alex- my friend and my auntie!" Poor Bobo was knackered after a walk a car ride and a new house full of people, so in the end we decided to take him back home. He completely flaked out after his dinner, and must be cream crackered.

* My dad drank a brandy last night and toasted getting rid of all of us. A bit sad really. Documenting to remind myself that a happy day was had without him, in spite of Little Ro fleeing to her house late last night after an argument rather than moving out slowly as planned. What a week.
