Lunch

That’s more like the October I know! After a few weeks of icy cold and wet weather, October pulled a pearl out of the bag today. Once lunch was over, I risked sunburn lounging around in a vest*, then headed off to garden, with my attentive hen companions!

Later, the rabbits joined us in the garden for a run about and the hens seemed, a little, to be less freaked by them.

*Please note this is not bragging. I sleep under two duvets, with two hot water bottles because it’s so cold; today (and tomorrow, probably) are just a joyful pause in generally not being able to feel my fingers and toes.
