Chasing the mist

Fog as I woke up, and I'd planned to get a shot in a nearby wood of the trees all standing in it, straight and falling away into a sea of grey. But I was too slow to get moving, and as I set off it was already retreating up the valley.

I just about caught up with it, and got some nice shots, but this one - with the mist just visible as it blows up the valley behind the house - was my favourite of the bunch.

Cut my own hair... Have to wait and see the popular reaction to it before I can judge it a success or not.
