Number 2

Up in CIC hut under the north face of Ben Nevis this weekend. Always love coming up here in winter. It was a great day on the Saturday, cloud was a little low but there was no wind and almost perfect climbing conditions.
Got up early and headed up towards Number 2 Gully with Bob and Graham. I lead the first pitch of Number 2 Gully Buttress, which was a very enjoyable bit of climbing. So much ice around that finding gear other than ice screws was pretty difficult. This is a picture of Graham starting up the top pitch. Great day out.
